My 1993 RX7-R1
Had it since June of 1992. 39000 miles on it now. Still have never driven a car that "felt" more elemental and connected to while driving. "Traded" with Jane, I could buy it if I quit smoking cigarettes. Best trade I ever made, even though it took a few years for me to actually hold up my end.

Wow, one of my favorite cars ever. That's one of the few cars that I would consider over/along with the S2k. If only it were reliable enough. I would put way more than 39000 miles on it. |

I've always been intrigued by these because, as far as I know it's the only production car with a rotary style "wankel" engine.
also, the "fast and furious" kids seem to love them. One of my co-workers has an RX-7 that is INSANELY quick, not to mention good looking. edit for wiki entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wankel_engine Last edited by JJG; 04-19-2009 at 11:31 AM. |
