Just clean the metal box once a month and you will be fine! I had the unit for over 2 years and I wish I never sold it

Suggestions? little soap and water or just a quick rinse out?

I would boil water and rinse, the metal gets hot so becareful

never keen on adding soap i figured the boiling water would kill everything.

I should mention only use hot water in the metal box you might need to clean the cork with a paper towel
