I purchased a Belmondo Vintage Reserve cigar yesterday, and it looks great and smells even better, but you know how the saying goes.... Smells can be deceiving. I tried to research it, but I can't find any reviews on this cigar. I was hoping somebody in the asylum had experienced one of these and could tell me if the purchase I made was of worth or not.

It's just a single cigar, it's not like you bought stock in the company. Just smoke it and make your own opinion.

Never had one. But if it smokes good, good flavors, then it would be worth it. Im assuming these are budget smokes. |

Isn't Belmondo spanish for "bad cigar"?
![]() Not good, imo. You may like it though.

The reason I asked is because if it's a bad cigar, I'll give it to my friend cuz I'm pretty sure he'll smoke anything.

I have indeed seen those in the Thompson catalog, and nowhere else. They are what Thompson refers to as a "boutique" brand . . . so maybe it tastes like patchouli.
