Finally Got Our Generator!

My generator is set to auto-run every week for about 10 minutes — makes sure everything is working OK and stirs the diesel up. Every six months the engine needs an oil change.

The diesel is able to run 24/7 during an outage and only needs to be shut down for refueling — although this is a soft requirement as the tank is not pressurized.

One thing I noticed, is that it’s not as quiet as the specs stated. It’s about 80 dB rather than 65... But, I’d rather the noise and power than no power
