It's supposed to be quieter than our A/C (which is 70 dB); they say that the generator is 60 dB. Still loud, but I can deal with it.
The other benefit of the generator is that the A/C used to sit outside our bedroom window. It had to be moved in order to put the generator in, and I did not realize how loud it was until it was moved! Quote:
