There was nothing going on at the address he was sent to. Don't understand why he had he gun drawn on the guy in the first place.

I think if you're not an LEO or have never been an LEO, to presume that he was "gun-ho" or poorly trained is wrong.

Respond to a 911 and be prepared for anything. Or end up shot by someone acting like nothing is wrong.
