I'm going to read up on some reviews. I'm telling myself even if I spend more than I wanted, I'm sure I'll just win that back during poker night.

To me it is an investment... and I hate to say this because I don't llike to mess with someones budget... BUT if you LOVE to play and you play regular. My mind says get a set that you can hand down to your kids. A good set of chips last in a casino for 3 to 5 years, and that is played with 24 hours a day 7 days a week... so a few lifetimes of home play.

BUT there is also something to be said for a cheap set, easy to get, cheap, and they still work the same.

In the end it all comes down to how much you want to spend... do you hate me yet?
