Warped Cigars-Little Havana Private Blend
It is not too often that I am surprised by a cigar, but this new blend from Warped Cigars exceeded all expectations.
I did not measure before smoking, but it appeared to be a corona gorda sized smoke, I guess about 5 1/2 x 48. Well constructed with a dark sungrown wrapper. A bit soft with a few minor veins. Prelight draw was just a bit free but not overly so. A very nice medium full stick. Not sure of the blend, but it seemed to have a lot of Nicaraguan tobacco. Some slight peppery flavors, but overall very well balanced. Reminded me a lot of the JdN Antano machito I smoked last week although not quite as strong. Burn was good from beginning to end. I dont know the price point these will be at final retail, but if they are in the $4-5 range I would definitely recommend trying this one. Not a lot of unique flavors but with the thousands of blends out there its hard to be different. I would definitely smoke this one again. Anyone who likes the JdN will enjoy this cigar. |
