It goes without saying ...
Man, do I hate that phrase ... since it is always followed by what they claim doesn't need saying.
So here is your thread to post those annoying little phrases that drive you nuts or to comment or post about people who use them. But that goes without saying ...

When people use "in the a.m." instead of just saying morning. Especially when it doesn't even sound like a proper sentence. For example, got an email from a co-worker this afternoon asking if I had seen the message they sent me "this a.m."

hmmm...the only thing that bugs me is when people say "uhh" I did see the other day that Bob Costas gets mad when people say they control their own destiny...I guess destiny and controlling doesn't go hand in hand.
