Xikar Xi 744 Knife
I had been poking around thinking about getting on of these:
It has a hole in the center so as you fold the blade you can clip a cigar. While it won't be my everyday cutter I do carry a knife and this one will be my cutter when I am without another one. I was pleased with the job it did on the cigar in the picture. I found one on eBay for $22.75 including shipping. They even through in a decent sheath. It is from www.redmountainknives.com I am not sure if they have any more but it is worth looking into. |

Re: Xikar Xi 744 Knife
I have one of those. It isn't bad and handy to have on you since it is a pocket knife and cutter as well. Just make sure to keep it sharp. Since it only has the one blade, if you let it get dull, it will crush your cigar instead of cutting it. I keep mine sharp and use it a lot. When I am home, I use it like a money clip and it is always right there. Mine did not come with a sheath.

Re: Xikar Xi 744 Knife
I've got one as well... As a knife, it's awesome...
As a cutter, Meh... Has to be razor sharp to work as a cutter or you will mess up the head of your cigar BIG TIME. |
