Default Cigar Selection for guests

OK so here's that grotesque question. If you were to stock a humidor purely with the intent of impressing the pseudo-cognoscenti, what 10 cigars would you put in there?

So while most of us enjoy cigars for more than just the prestige and the hype, I have the (mis) fortune of entertaining businessmen and beaureacrats who always reach for the Cohibas in my humidor. So if you were to stock an "entertainment" humidor - intended more for others than those in the know, what would you put in there? Usually these pretentious little gits read Cigar Afficionado and style magazines, so might recognize a high end stick.....

My thoughts:

Cohiba Esplindidos
Monte no 2
R&J Churchills
Partagas Series P no 2
Padron - anything big and dark
Fuente Opus X
My Father robusto or Flor Antilas Toro

Any thoughts?

I suppose I'm a git as well, I actually really enjoy the "celeb" interviews in Cigar Aficionado, they are well written, are about people from my generation and are much deeper than just about cigars.

That's all I had to say

Give them what you like. No need to impress them. A good cigar regardless of the price will (should) please any real cigar smoker. If they don't like what you have to offer tough luck. They should appreciate your gesture. If not they can bring their own.

Why would you remove the bands? For what purpose?

Stock what you like, but "pretentious little gits" have no access to my cigars.

Brilliant! I like it but....
Somehow they always spot a humidor though.....

Luckily it gets so $&@$!&$ cold here that it's only a problem for half the year.

I used to keep a humidor on the back porch with all the stuff I liked that was there specifically for everyone.
The humidors in the house were for everyone else who knew what they liked.

In my experience, folks who didn't smoke cigars regularly liked flavored cigars or sweet, full flavored maduros. So I made sure that stuff was always full up. There was always something that anyone would like.
I don't get that porch traffic nowadays, but I always keep fitting smokes in my travel humidors for folks who'd just like a good cigar.

I guess it boils down to putting the cigars you want in front of the people you want.

I used to keep some bundles around in a Moochador for my friends that would grab a cigar and put it out half way. Personally I don't care I tell them grab anything you want I figure a cigar is made to be shared and enjoyed I really don't want to give people I care about crap so such is life... just means to me don't screw around and smoke the good stuff first LOL
