Joya de Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojo Pesadilla Review
$4. - $9.
4 3/4 x 60 Full body Country of Origin: Nicaragua Wrapper Color: Dark Natural Wrapper Origin: Nicaraguan Wrapper Leaf Type: Corojo Prelight: Slight crack in the tip, (can see it in the photo) green hay, cocoa, slight leather chocolate 1st 1/3 The Antano Dark Corojo is blended using 75% Ligero leaf, so I could be in for a hefty N buzz coming my way. Pepper/spice start but smooth and semi sweet leather and wood notes, excellent draw and lots of room filling bellowing white smoke. The crack tip needs to be nursed gently not widen it, the burn on this cigar is extremely slow and the ash is a white gray and flaky The pepper and spice mellow and the cocoa and slight chocolate come alive It's so far an enjoyable stick but already felling the nicotine buzzing my head. 2nd 1/3 With the dominate ligero leaf I've read there can be some burn issue but it's behaving well with a slight angle in the burn line. This stick is a crazy slow burner and wish other fillers where this slow Definitely a full body cigar Final 1/3 The head buzz goes well with ♫♫ Say It Loud ♫♫ by James Brown Pepper mellows more with the typical creamy leather cocoa dominating I find no bitterness in the last 1/3 like so many cigars go towards The crack tip takes some work to close with my lips to get the draw right but acceptable. I don't think I like the strength of the ligero completely but did like the Kristoff Ligero Maduro Robusto a lot better though. If you love balls to the wall strength cigars you'll love this puppy Smoke time: 2 hours Score 8.5 out of 10
