Default Anybody in Sac'to ?

I'll be in Sacramento in early May. Can anybody recommend a good cigar store/lounge?

Yelp lists a bunch of places, with a lot of good reviews:

Fatman Cigars
Casillas Cigars
Cardenas Cigars
Tobacco Road
Briar Patch Smoke Shop
Tower Pipes & Cigars
Don Dimas Cigars:

Anybody have any feedback on any of these places?

I've been to Tower and Fatman. Tower seems to be the bigger retailer however the shop is a very long galley with his humidor running the length of the shop. Nothing wrong with that just no place to sit and smoke.

Fatman Cigar is a coverted house with great seating, good parking and a comfortable setting. The owner sat down and smoked with the guests which I think is always a good sign in any shop. The General Rep just happened to be there and pass me a Dunhill which was surprisingly likable for a NC.

Tower is great. Great selection and the owner is very friendly.

Briar is cool. Its a diamond crown lounge. You have to be a member to use the rear lounge with the big tv and comfy chairs, but you can get a one day pass for like $7 or something. And you can smoke in the front room without paying or being a member. But you must buy their cigars which are super wet. Don't even think about anything in a tubo.

Theres a place called Cardenas or something like that. Very good comfortable place, its a converted house. They only sell cardenas cigars which are pretty tasty at decent prices.

Personally I'd recommend tower if you don't mind standing.

I buy from Tower and think they've got the best selection of all the hip cigars, Viaje, Tatuaje, Illusione, Viaje, Drew Estates etc

Briar Patch is my favorite lounge and has good enough cigars, Illusione, Don Pepin and my Father, Rocky Patel, Arturo Fuente, Ashton's, Davidoffs etc

I have heard great things about Tobacco Road but I have not been there.

Casilla cigar it's been about four years but they used to roll their own. Fun place.
