The yellow is a buildup paste...make the face stand out from the canvas.

I think she has a Fu dog planned and several Japanese calligraphy characters.

Was going to follow up with asking if she was gonna put any kanji on there. Should end up lookin pretty darn awesome when alls said and done.

Looks great! Btw the viaje oil painting has started to get that aged look that oils do when they dry and looks great. Hope you 2 can make it up to burn again soon.

Fantastic! I think we are planning on coming up pretty soon. Dani has some interest from other clients about those two regarding some limited prints. If you want a copy, let me know.

Been a while since I posted an update on this painting...the glare makes the kanji show up a bit much...it's actually more subtle than it appears, but you get the idea.
