5 Vegas AAA
This is my first one of these cigars. (and first review) This little gem was a tasty treat. The construction was very good. The draw was almost perfect. Draw was easy with little resistance and a lot of thick smoke. The flavour that came to the front was chocolate. This switched to coffee, then back to chocolate. This continued through the cigar. Every once in awhile there was a taste of black pepper. This cigar was anything but boring and quite a taste treat. Size-5x56 Smoke time was 1hour 15mins. Burn- was near perfect. I will be getting more of these soon. |

These are tasty smokes. Even tastier when you can get them for cheap on Cbid or MMAO

Re: 5 Vegas AAA
I really like the 'AAA' but the 'A' isn't exactly a favorite.
Did you have a 'AAA' or the other because from your picture it just looks like a regular 'A'... The 'AAA' has the band on the foot too... did you remove it? |

Re: 5 Vegas AAA
Thanks for the kind words. I thought it would be nice to pass on my experience's. I intend to do some "campfire reviews this summer. I go camping a few days every month. I am going to try a new stick each time. It's my uh..civic duty to smoke these and report on them.

Re: 5 Vegas AAA
The Ogre bombed me one of these last year and I've been hooked since. I'm on my third box of Alpha belicosos. The triple A is a mainstay stick. Curious about the chocolate. I got cinnamon with hints of coffee. I also recommend the 5 Vegas Relics.

Re: 5 Vegas AAA
Nice review Mike.
In the past week, have smoked Cuba Libre One, Illusione 888, Partagas Black, La Gloria Cubana, Rocky Patel The Edge, Alec Bradley Family Blend, Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial and 5 Vegas Triple-A. The 5 Vegas was The Best of them. Good draw and surprising complexity. Love love love the broadleaf maduro wrapper. AAA continues to be a bargain, especially on Cbid. I agree with Mr. Frodo. The 5 Vegas line is ordinary, but the AAA is a consistent knockout.

AJF is blender of AAA - it's a great smoke.
5VA's with some age are nice, and cheap on cbid the latest knockout in 5V line is the limitada 2012. Best since the 2006's, of which I only have a few left.
