A funny observation on stupid criminals..

My Wife, Daughter and I went to Applebees last night for dinner, oh around 6pm or so. Last night, there's breaking news on an armed robbery at Applebees around 9pm. Naturally, I waited for more info. Nobody hurt thank goodness.

So today, just received a breaking news alert: Man arrested for robbery at Applebee's:

29yo guy went to police station today with a friend on an unrelated issue.......police recognized him as suspect from the robbery and arrested him......

REALLY?????

Are you kidding me??

I know you've go to be pretty stupid to do it in the first place....but really? Then you waltz into the station with a buddy when the force is out looking for you?

Got less than $500 from the heist, must have been looking for a winter home and figured a cell would work nicely. Sheesh!

Pretty stupid though. Less than $500, no surprise but what the hell did he think he would get?

Why rob a large(ish) establishment for so little cash?

people rob kangaroo stations and metro pcs around here. i think you pretty much have to pay cash at metro pcs

Looks similary to Pee Wee Herman

It's not all surprising what stupid criminals will do. Such as...call 911 to report something and have the police arrive at the location knowning that such caller has a warrant and even the caller knows!!! Then the police get yelled at for taking the caller to jail. Classic and it happens all the time!

Wow that guy is as stupid as the guy that tried to rob the butcher shop I worked in during High School with a pocket knife.
