El Primer Mundo Rosado Oscuro Perfecto
This 6×54 stick features a perfecto shape – like a torpedo at both ends. It’s definitely hand made, with slightly uneven construction in the roll although the pack feels firm and even. It has a good heft in the hand, minimal veins, invisible seams and a dark brown wrapper with a very soft tobacco aroma, a very nice humidor smell. First light reveals unfortunately a completely plugged cigar. It felt like there was a solid plug near the head, and it took a couple minutes of working it with my fingertips to loosen it up and be able to draw anything though. The first third produces thick almost chewy smoke with oily, rich smooth creamy tobacco flavors. A sweetness and pepper come on the end of the draw and carry through on the short finish, leaving just a pepper zing. 15 minutes in the flavors shift to a creamy sweet nuttiness, keeping the peppery finish. The second third holds the same flavors, hitting the 1/2 way point at the 40 minute mark. Near the end of the 2nd third the cigar completely went out all of a sudden, with a 1/2″ hard and burned section that had to be burned and tapped off to relight. The last third takes on a deeper earthiness replacing the nut flavors. Ending at 1:10, the last third showed no further changes, although the wrapper near the band point had begun to unravel. Obviously this stick had some construction issues throughout. Video on the site

Re: El Primer Mundo Rosado Oscuro Perfecto
Thanks for posting this review. I smoked the El Primer Mundo Connecticut last night and I'm smoking the Criollo Maduro right now. I'm really enjoying this.
