Chinese Tea & NC
So, I am sitting in a (Kosher!) Chinese Restaurant for an early dinner with my family for my daughter's 4th birthday and my father sitting next to me pours the tea. As he pours it, he asks me if I had a cigar before dinner. I said no, he said, well someone in here was just smoking a cigar that smells good. (there is a B&M lounge down the street), I said that I didn't smell it. All of a sudden he takes a whiff of the tea and low and behold - it smelled EXACTLY like a well-maintained cedary/leather chair cigar shop second hand smoke or a flavor one would pick up in a cigar -and I mean exactly. It almost tasted like a La Aurora Preferidos when drinking, but the aroma was really unmistakeable!! I mean it smelled like an excellent Dominican or other NC. It was like liquid cigar tea aroma.

Re: Chinese Tea & NC
I had that problem one time while drinking tea. Turns out I was just smelling my finger.

We also wondered if there was a Fuente in the kettle.
