Some pretty good engineering going on there.

Pretty neat, not sure it was worth all the time to make it shoot those small blocks. Where's the Barrett 50 cal version . No doubt that took some serious time to do.

EDIT apparently this same kid makes Desert eagles, Barrett 50 cals, spas -12, ak-47. To very decent detail except they all shoot the same small lego WAY too much time on his hands...

Very cool. As for too much time on his hands, well that's a far more interesting way for him to spend his time than say, playing World of Warcraft. I've seen books in the engineering section of bookstores that have a whole bunch of different "adult" lego projects, some of them involving electric motors and all of them on a very high level of complexity. Why not take legos to an adult level of sophistication? I still help my 2 year old son play with Duplos and it's just as fun as when I was a kid. Legos are no more a waste of time then when men build model trains, fly RC helicopters or do any other "big kid" hobbies

Legos are timeless. I am glad to see people are still finding new ways to use legos. I much rather see my nephew playing with them than sitting on the couch playing playstation or the computer. My step daughter asked for girl legos for Christmas so I had to go find some pink ones.

I have to agree with you. My oldest son is 34 and all three of the others have had Legos to play with while they were growing up. What's funny is anytime the Lego buckets get pulled out of the closet, all 4 of them start building things. Over 30 some-years, we've collected over 15 gallons worth of Lego pieces, not counting bases, ship hulls and assorted set parts. I expect that my Grandson will be playing with these as soon as he's old enough to not swallow them.
