Help with my first Tatauaje
So all I keep reading about here is how great Tats are and I'm yet to try one. I see them come up on the devil site, but even there they are not cheap.
Can you guys suggest where to start? I generally like full flavored smokes. Thanks in advance |

Why not pick up a fiver of the 7th or reserve?
I like the Havana VI but that's far from full flavored.

Re: Help with my first Tatauaje
Mark, youre in NY... Im sure you can find a tobacconist locally that carries them Then you can buy a stick or two without shelling out 60 bucks on a fiver.
http://www.tatuajecigars.com/site/stores/ p.s. Dont listen to all the posts that tell you to save your money and buy this, or buy that... try a Tat and then decide for yourself if they are worth the money or not.

Try HoltsDOTcom. They have a good selection. I prefer the Havana VI (red label) line. And those little Verocu #9s are mighty tasty. http://www.holts.com/category.html?i...63&trail=86665

Try the Havana Cazadore for full flavor.
Personally, I think the Noella is a great place to start, and probably finish in the Tat line and they won't break the bank either.

Re: Help with my first Tatauaje
I would start out with the Havana VI line and go from there. They may not be as full bodied but they are a great stick especially the Artista and they are still very affordable.

Re: Help with my first Tatauaje
Personally, I think you should start where Tat started, with the brown labels. IMO, that's what Tatuaje is all about. And then you can go from there.
My favorite is the line is the Noella. If you like a Petite Corona, they're pretty damn hard to beat. |

Re: Help with my first Tatauaje
Didn't try them for a long time because there wasn't a local B&M that carried them (that I knew of). Was out of town for business and there was a B&M that had the Havana VI's and Seleccion De Cazador's. Let's just say it was all downhill from there
You could try something like this if you wanted to get a taste of a few different Pete Johnson sticks. They're all pretty dang good! |

Re: Help with my first Tatauaje
I love the Tatuaje Black Tubos, some love em, some hate em, but they are the best that I've had out of the Tatuaje line, but I've only had the Havana VI, and the Cojonu 2003, along with a few brown labels that I don't know what kind they were.
I also think Pete's other blends are definately a try, the El Truinfador is my favorite cigar I've had out of everything, and the Cabaiguan is another favorite, especially in Maduro |

Re: Help with my first Tatauaje
You never know until you try them. Everyone's palate is different and you might really dig something out of the line that isn't popular with others.
Some of my favorites off the top of my head were Red Label: Victoria, Angel Brown Label: Especiale, Noellas Cabaiguan: Coronas Extra, Petite Cabaiguan Cabaiguan Guapos: Guapos Junior- Petite Corona Natural Reserva: J21 La Riqueza: No.1 Lonsdale, No.5 Petite Corona OR east/west regionals
