Smokes on the cheap...
I apologize if this has been discussed already but I didn't see a thread for it, so I thought I would start one. If you know of a pre-existing thread for this, please post the link and feel free to close this one. Meanwhile....
I'm looking for running list of good smokes on the cheap. I was hoping we could limit the list to cigars that we can currently buy, and and nothing over $3.00 a stick. Here the ones that I know of, and currently smoke. I hope you add to the list as well. Sorry, my addition to this is rather small. I'm trying to find some more cheap smokes for myself... Thanks! Under $1.00: Don Rubio Under $2.00: Argyle Under $3.00: Benchmade |

Re: Smokes on the cheap...
5 Vegas A Apex can be had $40-$43 a bundle on cbid.
Tampa Sweethearts are always solid. Bundle of #150's for $30. Famous Nic 3000's under $50 a bundle (leave the torps alone, they suck) Many Oliva's fall under the $4.00 a stick range. Someone mentioned the Special G, awesome smoke, one of my favorites. Buy the box of 48. These would be my favorite cheaper smokes, there are hundreds more. I have had a couple JR Alts that were ok, just haven't tried too many of them. Maybe I should get over there and get a bundle or two......

Re: Smokes on the cheap...
Inexpensive tasty yardgars, work smokes etc, I enjoy are:
1. Flor De Oliva Madro (Robusto)= $1.52 2. Aspira Maduro (Toro)= $1.52 3. A. Fuente Curly Head Deluxe Maduro= $1.80 4. Famous Nicaraguan 3000 (Robusto)= $2.10 5. Indian Tabac Super Fuerte (Robusto)= $2.24 (PROBLEM: About every 3rd one I smoke has a draw, burn problem, but the flavor is good. Just be forewarned) 6. Gispert (Belicoso)= $2.32 7. Sancho Panza Double Maduro (Robusto)= $2.90 8. Fonseca 8-9-8= $3.00 I'm a FF/Paramedic so my everday smokes are around the $6-$10 range, but at work I can't stand discarding any cigar over $6.00. So, while at the Firehouse the above mentioned are great smokes that I don't mind throwing out when I go on a call. It's not that they aren't good, they are great stogies in the price range you menitoned. And yes, I still hate throwing these out, it just doesn't hurt as bad. Enjoy your search, just remember this is all matter of opinion. |
