Re: Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout
The only beer I have tried from SS, but it is a mighty fine beer.

Re: Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout
I am glad to see you all enjoyed this Stout as much as I did. I was simply playing video games with a buddy at his place knocking back a few Guinness Extra Stout's and his wife came home and sat down near us with a 4 pack of the Samuel Smiths. So of course I had to convince her to give me a couple bottles in trade for some Guinness.
Too bad the Samuel Smiths is sooooo expensive lol. It was one of the better beer trades I have done. Last edited by dwoodward; 08-31-2010 at 02:58 PM. |

Re: Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout
Excellent brew, as are all the SS brews. A bit on the expensive side though.
Peace of the Lord be with you.

Re: Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout
I just drank 3 more very limited stout's... and I would just like to say that all 3 did not even come close to Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout....
Although... I did see an interested new arrival at the liquor store... Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout... I might need to try this... |

Re: Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout
I made a homebrew clone of Samual Smiths Oatmeal Stout yesterday.
I hope it turns out close. It will be nice to have 5gallons of this on tap for football season!
