Default Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!

It seems like the rumors about foil wrapped T 110's are true! Pete had 40 boxes of T 110's, and the boxes too... but there were no bands. Tatuaje decided to wrap the bundles in foil, as opposed to the original release paper wrapping. Also, the foiled release has an additional Fleur de Lis in red on white on a sticker added to the box., the Originals do not. I have not had the chance to light one up yet, however they smell exactly like the original release.

Take a look :
Original Release on the left, Foiled Release on right.

Foiled Release bundle.

Original Release July '09.

Foiled release Feb.'10.

They look so much nicer with the paper than with the foil wrap. However, that does not really matter. As long as they taste identical or better than the original one's, you are good to go.

Are the wrappers the same as the originals or the recent releases?

I hate these threads, but that's just my jealousy talking. J/K Nice pickup. They look just as tasty as the banded version.

One would think the foil would be better for long term storage, but not as attractive

I don't mind the foil, and the bans are nice, but somehow an unbanded cigar is kind of cool. It's like you're in on a secret. If that makes any sense.

Well the aging thing only works if you don't rip the foil open like a kid on christmas.

When I originally heard about them being foil wrapped, I was thinking idividually wrapped ala' Illusione ~mj12~, not the bundle wrapped.

I barely ever smoke NC's but if given the chance I would pick up a box of the foil wrapped, just to put 'em down and see how they smoked after many years.

I was told they are the exact same cigars as the others, and they look/smell the same.

Jack Straw said :Well the aging thing only works if you don't rip the foil open like a kid on Christmas. no problem, the other two boxes are still sealed, and wrapped in original plastic. This box is to SMOKE!
