Default CAO Sopranos Deal

Saw this special on cigarbid.com and thought it might
be of interest:

http://www.cigarbid.com/auction/lot.cfm?lotID=837605

The CAO Sopranos are one of the better CAOs, IMHO.
But the price is always too high. Here they are on special
for the next few days, and currently the bids are far below
msrp. I might even break my New Year's resolution and
pick some up, if the bids stay reasonable.

Overpriced cigars that don't sell well should be discontinued.
The few Sopranos that I smoked were tasty, however. For
the money I'll take Brazilias, every time. Sopranos would be
very good $5-$7 smokes. But at $11-$15 ea., I'll pass.

JMHO

Update: current bid up to $61 for 10 smokes.
Still a very good deal.

100% agree. Wasn't a huge fan of them. I have a few left in one of my humidors that will sit for a bit. But I didn't think they were very memorable. Great looking sticks though.

The CAO SOprano I smoked wasn't very impressive, but it was free so I can't complain a whole lot. I prefer the Brazilia and the MX2.

I had one (I don't really remember which one) and I wasn't impressed. But to be fair it was when I just started so I'll have to try one again.

These pop up from time to time on Joes Jambalaya. I snagged a 10 pack for $50 last time they did. I hear a lot of people say they are underwhelming, but I like them. Especially at $5 a stick.

I liked the couple of Sopra's I have tried but I agree they are overpriced.

I guess I got a dud MX2. The burn was really wonky and it wouldn't stay lit. I guess I should try another one.
