Default 5 Vegas Miami Robusto

I've been smoking a lot of Cinco Vegas cigars lately, and I have enjoyed every one of them. This Miami was no exception.

This cigar starts off with a nice woodsy note. I'm getting tons of smoke from a very loose draw. It's a bit looser than I like, but I can live with it.

The wrapper had a good size tear in it, I tried to show it photo above. This did not affect the cigar, until the ash reached the hole.

Moving along, the flavor remained the same. Nothing spectacular, but a nice constant flavor. Still getting tons of smoke from the loose draw. When the ash got to the hole in the wrapper, the opposite side of the cigar split also. This made it very hard to smoke.

I didn't get to the final part of this cigar, as the splits kept getting worse. I have a couple more of these resting, and will try to do a re-review at a later time. For what I did get to smoke, it was a medium bodied. Not a complex flavor profile, but it was decent.

That sucks that the construction wasn't any good; I haven't had any constructions issues w/ 5 Vegas yet, I'm a big fan of their stuff. The ash on it looked excellent though--I've been wanting to try the Miami.

All of my 5V Miami's are ~2+ years old. I don't know if the blend is different now or just the band, but the older Miami's are superb with some age. Never had the construction issues, either, sorry about your experience but thanks for the review!

I believe the blend is the same. My understanding was that CI just wanted all of the 5 Vegas bands to share all common graphic elements of the roundel.
