A Good Day For Poets . . .?
Or is it a bad one instead? You tell me. Today is the birthday of Dylan Thomas, who drank himself to death much too young, and is also the birthday of Sylvia Plath, who gassed herself to death even earlier.
Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. |

That's a Rodney Dangerfield quote from "Back to School" right. Good movie right there. |

They inform and amuse,
Arouse and confuse, In words both plain and obtuse. They record our past, Outline future paths, Or hold today in their grasp. Poems and poets ... without whom our world would be much more drab. To the past, present and future poets of our world a hearty thanks.
