Arturo Fuente Don Carlos #3 Cigar Review Video
This 5.5×44 stick offered a medium body but medium-full strength experience. Burn was excellent, draw was on the firm side and excellent all the way down. Flavors were simple, offering one major flavor at a time, changing near the half way point from slightly sweet earthy to a little woody. Finish was short and clean with a bit of a pepper kick to enjoy only on the finish. Burn time to just past the band was 1:30 where it started getting a little warm. http://cigarobsession.com/2009/09/16...-cigar-review/

Re: Arturo Fuente Don Carlos #3 Cigar Review Video
I had one of these last weekend and absolutely loved it. I went back and bought 2 more Fuentes yesterday, another DC#3 and a Queen B. It's always good to revisit Fuente every now and then. The longer I've been smoking, the more I appreciate them.
One thing that surprised me was how sweet this cigar tasted! almost like the cap had sugar on it or something. That's not to say it wasn't balanced though. There was also a healthy amount of savory leather to balance out the sweet. smoked to the nub and never got bitter either, which I have found is rare with NCs. I usually can't go any farther than the band. thanks for the review! I do enjoy the video reviews. |

Yes, the sweetness surprised me too - and in a good way! I usually don't like sweet as a flavor personally, but this one was just right. Thanks for watching!
