Default G.A.R. Robusto Grande

Wrapper - Ecuadorian Corojo
Binder - Ecuadorian Connecticut
Filler - Nicaraguan

Beautiful smooth wrapper with a very pleasant aroma of tobacco. Box pressed. The band slid off the foot smoothly without any problems. Very firm with no soft spots. Prelight draw packed with flavors of tobacco and a faint sweetness.

First third - Good draw with lots of smoke. Flavors completely of tobacco and leather. Slight bitterness on the aftertaste. Burning very well. The bitter aftertaste subsides pretty quickly and is replaced by a slightly sweet and floral note.

Second third - Staying very consistent in flavor with large doses of tobacco. A mocha flavored aftertaste is starting to develop with a mild peppery spice. Surpassing medium strength at this point.

Last third - Although quite smooth throughout, the smoothness picks up at this point. Cedar, leather, and wood flavors all coming through with an increasingly long aftertaste. Quite powerful at the end.

Overall a tasty smoke. I picked up 10 from Joe's Jambalaya at about $3/stick. At that price I certainly have no complaints. Full of rich flavor. Recommended.

Nice review, thanks! I saw these on Joe's and took a pass. Perhaps I shouldn't have...

Thanks for the review. Have to check my B&M to see if they have them.

Nice review. Yep, good smokes.

Funny thing is I remember them being darker when they first came out, but not sure if that's just my imagination.
