Kristoff Maduro Torpedo
Tried several of these from a local B&M and really liked them. They have been on by buy list for awhile and I just pulled the trigger. There is a lot to like about this cigar. First off is the packaging. The rustic box has a nice look to it. The cigars are packed inside surrounded by loose tobacco.
Upon opening the box you get a nice earthy tobacco scent. The cigars have a dark rich color with a very nice oily sheen. Origin: Dominican Wrapper: Brazilian Maduro Binder: Dominican and Cuban seed Filler: Dominican, Cuban seed and Nicaraguan Size: 6 1/8 x 51 The shaggy foot is a nice touch which provides a burst of flavor when you light up. First 1/3 of this smoke is delightful. The flavor is different then most with a subtle touch of coca with some spice added in. The flavors do not change much throughout but do get stronger with some earthiness building in which makes this a very pleasant smoke. Smoked this baby right down to the nub. Definitely a cigar that will stay stocked in my humi. |
