Default Goviado Chico

Otherwise known as the second blend to be coming from AndyMadera's line of cigars (the first is Reserva MiraFlor). Tonight, we the Stumptown herf gang got to sample this delicious new stick. Wish we had the foresight to have taken pics, but you'll have to take our word (and use your imagination).

In a petite 4" by 40rg cigar, it packs a nice wallop. A bit of spice, but the most surprising of it all isthat all-familiar Cuban twang. Mark (vstrommark) akinned it to a Punch. I was thinkin' more along the lines of a RASCC. That fresh bread taste, a bit of spice, and a wonderful sweet/floral taste to it. I think Al (AHC4353) will love these. And so will many other people. Mark (vstrommark) beat us to getting our wallets out to buy the lone bundle that Andy brought with him. Now I am a bit sad that I'll have to wait (like everyone else) till he gets more on-hand.

Come on Andy, you need to get these into the market. You'll make a KILLING with these. It's probably the closest I've had to a NC that comes to that CC profile.

It is my opinion that Andy's new marca is going to be very popular. Like the Miraflor, the taste is complex and complete, for an NC, and is very satisfying. More mild than the Miraflor, these nonetheless have a subtle complexity and big taste that I believe will sell well.

He also brought along the new Miraflor Lancero, which he generously gifted a half box to me and which I will share to help get further word out about his enterprise. We lit one up in a pass and it was applauded by one and all.

Andy knows his stuff. Hope one day, when he's famous, we can say that we knew him when.

Well, he is already famous. After you had left, one of the other tables had bought a box of his cigars, and the guy that bought it had Andy sign it.

SIGN IT.

Dammit. I want a picture with Andy so I can say I knew him back in the day.

Glad to hear it...the more places you can get the better. As I've said before, the product just needs to get out there. It will sell itself.
