Default A good day

I have my oldest cutting the grass. Oh, how I have been waiting for this time. A drink in one hand and a smoke in the other, watching someone else do the yard work.

Now how many more times will he ask to do it

HA.

When I was growing up my parents had a maid, gardener, and a guy who split and stacked our fire wood.

His name was Darrell and apparently he worked for "free".

Didn't read your username before reading your post. Totally thought you parents had a slave or your mother was having an affair...

The kid gets paid room and board same as I did in the '50's and '60's. Parents have kids in order to get free labor.
