Homemade Corned Beef?
Seems that I can't buy corned beef in my area unless it's St. Patty's day. So with that said, I am going to try and make it at home.
I have done a little googling and came up with a few recipes but I wondered if anyone else has a proven recipe that they have used before? |

My thing right now is getting the ratios nailed down for celery juice (extract) or celery seed powder in place of curing salts. Close, but not quite there yet. |

Fixed that for you brother.
If you're going to go, go to the real one. BTW, we have to figure out how to both be in LA at the same time sometime. I'll take you to Nate n' Al's. Last edited by T.G; 07-16-2012 at 03:32 PM. |

Re: Homemade Corned Beef?
I used to sell homemade corned beef through the mail. Granted, it was 400 dollars a pound, but it was pretty half-assed.

Just let me know the day and time! (but give me another 6 weeks so I can get out of this boot and walk normal again -- at least I hope I will be able to walk normal again)
