I actually admire that, rather than when people root for who's "hot" or whatever.

Spent a lot of down years rooting for the Blackhawks, Tigers, Bears, Cubs, etc....but never deserted them.

Kind of being a Bruins, Red Sox, and Pats fan from 1960. It makes the good years even better. I salute anyone who follows a down team for an extended period of time and hope that the teams have an upturn soon.

Watched the Pens Wings game. I liked what I saw. .
Pens puck movement was very good.
NHL network has been fun the past few nights.

I think Shanahan should let Bob Saget do it.

I hung out with Team USA in Montreal after their World Cup win in '96. Alomst everyone on the team treated me like gold. One who did not...Modano.

Great player indeed, but he left me cold as a human being.

That's real crappy of him Seeing him talk makes me think he would be that way. Doesn't seem like he would be "one of the guys"

I remember watching the finals with my parents, and I wanted to root for Team Canada because 3 Wings players were on the team and none were on Team USA

Keith Carney, who was on Team USA but did not play in the finals, got me a ticket for Game 3 after they won Game 2. Next time we herf I will tell you the stories of that night, it was pretty freaking crazy.

I watched both devils rangers games this week. Great to see hockey back again. I've been a rangers fan since, good god, as long as I can remember. I still have a jersey that was given to me when I was little. It was an actual game jersey, it has holes that were stitched up and, when I got it, it actually had blood stains. Was from a guy by the last name of hickey. Apparently he was friends with my uncle at some point, from what I understand. It's a cool piece of memorabilia, just thought I would share.

Got some free tickets to the Jackets Sabres game tomorrow. Should be fun to see a little preseason action. Especially growing up so close to Buffalo and now living in Columbus.

Felt bad for Mursak last night. Watched the Wings Hawks. The push was bad intentioned and watching his ankle twist up like that was ugly.

Yeah, and they said he was going to make the roster too. Sucks for him.

James Wiesnewski (sp?) got suspended the rest of the pre-season and first 8 games of the regular season for a head-shot. I like him, but he just doesn't learn.

That really does suck Tom as the push was one of those why moments and the end result could mean he never makes it. Sucks.

watched the Philly game the other night. Jaromina had combat gloves and stick. Wonder how much they paid knowing will get a lot of screen time. Cough cash grab.

Hey what do you know Nabokov is a Islander. Still over handling the puck and won't stay in his cage. Someone better chain that hamster to the crossbar. Have fun Islanders fans one minute you will love him, the next you will wonder if he is mildly retarded. Watch out he likes to wear skin tight jeans. Yeah that was an unpleasant conversation.

Wonder if that Smith hit was retaliatory for the Mursak incident.
There was nothing good about that hit.

I am guessing Ben Smith will miss more games than Brendan Smith does as a result of the hit.
