I believe these are Zino branded blends.. I'm not particularly fond of Zinos although it was one of the first cigars I smoked in the late 80's. I've always got a place in my humidor for the NC Davidoffs. It's not something I'll purchase at full M.S.R.P, but if I find a decent discount I might pick up a 3 or 5 pack.

Of course to each their own... while some people prefer the padron annis or the Opus, I'd rather have a harder to find Kelner blend. They typically make me happier.

As others have noted, the construction and burn are near flawless on these cigars, while not the total of the experience, it does add to the experience.

I think I'd buy one just to try it, same with Opus X or Diamond Crown.

I voted to each their own, I have never had one, but there seems to be some Hype. While i have dropped 20-30$ on a smoke(GOF, Padron40/80th) I just never had the draw to the Davidoff to try one. Guess they just don't have any interest to me, maybe the plain label

That's funny, because it's those plain *yellow* labels that are thing of beauty to me. :]

Do it already! I need to know they were put to rest properly!

These are definately worth the hype/mystique!!

The others (I haven't sampled the entire line) are good, perfectly constructed, but grossly overpriced IMHO.

The hype/mystique is what allows them to get away with the high prices on these....just like the Opus X.

I said great choice for a smoke but I like them I also haven't paid retail for them. Are there things I enjoy more for the same price or less you bet. Still sometimes it fits a desire.

1. Davidoff does a good job of "imitating" Cuban taste. - I don't know of anyone who would say that an NC Davidoff is similar in taste to a Cuban cigar.
2. "Cubans are rare and expensive like my precious davidoff. " - Cubans are neither rare nor expensive.

Happy to amuse you my friend. I do try to entertain.

I haven't had very many, but the ones I've had were very good.

I do have to laugh when someone thinks a cigar they don't like, can only be liked because of "hype".

Hype or not, I'll take all the Davidoffs and Tat Blacks I can get.

Take care.
