It's SO obvious that none of you have been to Big Burger in Concord, CA.

My favorite burger joint is the cast iron pan in my oven.
80/20, salt, pepper, and a 1 ounce medallion of gorgonzola embedded in the middle.

Re: The official CA Burger thread
I'm ashamed to mention I like Red Robin burgers... I got on a Red Robin kick because it's totally kid-friendly and I take my boy. After a few meals there I'm converted.

Sterling Place Tavern in Buffalo, NY. The best burger on earth. Come to Buffalo and if you can say otherwise, I'll buy your burger and beers.
Its a dive, but great food and very good beers. |

For a fast food style burger nobody around beats the WhiteHut in West Springfield, MA Make sure you order with fried onions (carmalized)
For a more "gourmet" burger the Blue Cheese burger from Plan B in Glastonbury, CT is the best ive had... 1 inch thick, carmalized onions, bluecheese and burbon sauce... |

In-N-Out when I can get it (SoCal native here) but since I'm in Amarillo these days, Blue Sky is my favorite buger place that I can regularly patronize
if you're ever in town, let me know, and I'll show you a fantastic burger oh yeah, and Tommy's in LA, omg good |

Re: The official CA Burger thread
Some great calls in here.
Barneys and In & Out are my go to places, though I've been laying off the burgers lately. The best burger I've ever had was from Izzy's Steak and Chophouse in SF. I don't know why I was ordering the burger at an awesome steak place. It just sounded good at the time. It was really fricking good and I'd order it again. Tasted like it was made from ground filet mignon. I'll need to try out Big Burger in Concord. |

Re: The official CA Burger thread
I think that the best burger in my area is from a Bar called Dillinger's. The Scarface is the best. Burger, mozz sticks, onion rings and BBQ sauce on a roasted bun.
