Like 76GTFan & Tom I also have some stones (won them from Partagas) and I agree I cannot tell a difference at all, I'm giving mine away to a regular at the shop.

I'm the exception here - like the whiskey rocks. Very slightly cools the drink...just enough. Easier than putting the glass/ bottle, etc in the freezer. I do notice a difference in the temperature of the liquid with the chilled rock in the glass. Prefer good bourbon, scotch, Irish neat. Use the rocks several times a week. If nothing else, they make a hell of a good throwing stone to bean some idiot...!

I find them functionally useless, they are great for making you feel sophisticated though. Kind of like smoking jackets.
