Re: Whiskey stones?
Like 76GTFan & Tom I also have some stones (won them from Partagas) and I agree I cannot tell a difference at all, I'm giving mine away to a regular at the shop.

Re: Whiskey stones?
Holy crap! I got mine as a gift from someone who also gave me a bottle of Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition I think 14yr. Can't tell one bit of difference in chill or taste with the stones. Would definitely feel ripped off if I'd paid for them.

Re: Whiskey stones?
I cannot speak for others, but whiskey stones me. That's why I stick to beer and wine.

Re: Whiskey stones?
I'm the exception here - like the whiskey rocks. Very slightly cools the drink...just enough. Easier than putting the glass/ bottle, etc in the freezer. I do notice a difference in the temperature of the liquid with the chilled rock in the glass. Prefer good bourbon, scotch, Irish neat. Use the rocks several times a week. If nothing else, they make a hell of a good throwing stone to bean some idiot...!
