I think the server got a little overloaded today.

Only thing weird I experienced was my apps kinda got spread around over like 3 times the space needed to organize them.

I thought I had lost some but once I slid over, they were there.

I'm really anxious for the Tom Tom GPS app to come out as I haven't heard or seen any that are worth having yet.

Exactly. Anyone know how to fix this unwelcome spread?
Also, my keyboard doesn't seem to go into landscape like now...
Is it only in email??

I'm challenged

Change it just like you would move around any of your other apps to add or remove a page.

It should go into landskape while texting. Mine works fine.

Easy fix. If you remove all icons from one page, the page disappears.

Can you please elaborate? I don't want to mess it up.

If you tap an Icon and hold it, they (the icons) will all start to shake with an 'x' in the upper part of the icon. You can then drag them to other pages. Once you have all the icons moved from a page, it will disappear.

Thanks, I'll try that. I was almost getting ready to just take a sharpie to the icons i don't use.

I had thought you needed a jailbroken phone with a 3rd party app to remove the icons.

Thanks for the helpful tip!! I got the icons to shake and they moved perfectly.

The notes syncing is lame. I'm using Windows Vista. Apparently notes syncing only works with Outlook, which I refuse to use.

I get a message on my Itunes>Phone>Info Tab>Sync that says:

"No supported notes application can be found"

Why can't they just sync them to text files inside a sync folder. Sheesh!

Oh yeah, to get out of the Icon edit mode, hit the Home button.

Zone,

Am I correct in my thought that you need a jailbroken phone to remove icons?

No. Normal phone

Do you want to remove them or just move them?

If you want to just move them follow the instructions I gave.

If you want to remove them, then I usually go to Itunes>Phone>Applications tab and check 'sync applications' and 'selected applications'. Then I just select the ones I want on the phone. Then re-sync.

Now some are part of the phone's OS and you can't remove them (like phone, contacts, iPod, etc...), but you can move them.

I was thinking about taking a few things like stocks off.

I was told about a program called "poof" that does stuff like that on jailbroken phones, but your way seems easy.

Stocks is one that's part of the OS. Can't get rid of it without jail breaking it.

For all of those that are upset about MMS. Do you know about Quip? It's an app that lets you send photos in MMS messages. It sends it as a text link, but it is only one click away for the receiver. The receiving phone doesn't have to have Quip either. It used to be free, but now I think it's $.99.

As long as AT&T stays behind the times, we're stuck to unlocking the phones features with apps. I'm considering jailbreaking my phone for tethering. Just waiting for AT&T to announce $70/mo. Also, I'm afraid they will have additional rates for MMS even though other phones don't.

God, if they charge extra for MMS I will go nuts. I don't understand why you would get charged extra for tethering. Plenty of other devices can do it.

Everyone knows that MMS isn't "data" so ATT won't be able to apply it to the "unlimited data plan".
