Default First Living Medal of Honor For A Living Afghan War Vet

Hey everyone, just wanted so share some news with you. In case you have not seen it yet, we now have a living Afghan War Vet who will be given the nations highest honor; The Medal of Honor. This young man fought out here in the vally of Afghansitan known as the Korengal (Death Valley or Devils Playground). Please check out the link below to the Washington Post.

Just so everyone knows, the Korengal Valley in Afghanistan is considered the deadliest place in Afghansitan per square mile. The Soldiers nickname for the Korengal is "Death Valley." We are still fighting in the Korengal and the documentary RESTREPO is look into its nasty area.

Just finished a book about the valley and outpost Restrepo (think they made a documentary too - havent seen it).

I am in awe of what our fighting men and women do - just so I can sleep safely in my bed at night.

and allies. You're not alone in this battle agains terrorism. Hopefully our new government will decide to send our troops back to Uruzgan after the previous government decided to leave (and fell because of it) before the job was done.
