JKH - I was just in Petosky for 10 days (well, a lake NEAR Petosky) and they have a nice shop there. Since you are in the UP, if you like cASINO'S (THERE ARE A ton IN mi) Kewadin is decent, and they usually have a great all you can eat crab leg buffet on Sat's (they used to) That is in Sault Ste Marie. Bay Mills is a little closer to you and still up that way. I would check them both out - as they both allow smoking indoors. (I spent a LOT of time in SSM

Good luck - The UP is really cool and scenic, especially when the colors start changing. BTW, if they call for "flurries (snow), flurries usually equals 6 inches or more.

The UP is great. We've gotten "flurries" that nearly snowed us in on our snowmobile trips. Don't forget to try a Pasty.
