Default Where can I buy Pectin?

I need to get my hands on some Pectin for gluing some custom bands on cigars. Is this stuff available in the grocery store in the canning aisle? Is there a specific type I should look for?

For gluing bands on, I always used the non-toxic glue sticks. Works like a charm.

A glue stick? Brilliant!

I actually did think of glue sticks but couldn't remember from my elementary school art projects how well the stuff stuck. Maybe I ate too many of them.

Pectin for wrapper repairs, but its not sticky enough for bands. Glue stick works like a charm for bands.

non flavored (plain) pectin from the canning section of the grocery store works perfect for wrapper repairs. Watch for flavoring agents (e.g., read the ingredients list).

I find glue sticks work great for about 2-3 weeks for me, so I tend to add a very small piece of transparent tape as well. Harder to get off, but I don't make the bands especially tight so that I can tear them off easier.

If you don't feel like leaving the house, pick your nose. Pull out a dab of booger put it on one side of the band and smoosh the other end against it and voila. J/K Sorry all the proper answers have already been said and I have work that needs to be done and procrastinating.

As cheap as I am I doubt that the guests at my wedding would appreciate the booger glue on the bands. However, if I exhaust all other methods of adhering the bands I may be asking for booger donations since I am only good for about 5-10 good sticky boogers a day, and I have 100 cigars to put bands on.

Pectin from the store will work just fine, just don't make it to watery, it needs to be a paste.
