I'm amazed at how close it is following the comic. Well except for the new people added in the mix. I figure they'll turn into Red Shirts soon and the gang from the comic will commence to carrying on the storyline!

There are some things that they just can't shoot though like The Governor and what happens to him. Ick...

First season is just six episodes, but they have apparently already signed for a full second season.

I still say Rick's woman is a bit of floozie -- if I understood the conversation between her and Shane last night, Shane told her Rick was dead. A short time later, she's bopping Shane.

I repeat: where was the mourning period?

And I can do without her righteous indignation over the whole situation.

On the other hand, it was awesome to see Ed's face get pounded in.

Post apocalyptic world and women are going to start looking for the ones to protect them the fastest. Mourning Shmourning, it's about survival then.
