Most reports from my friend's gun store are that it sucks.
.45 ACP ...over 100 years tried and true and you can buy a box of ammo in friggin Zimbabwe.
All the thumping power you need.

Unless your gonna reload the ammo is expensive....two better choices would be the .45ACP or .40 Ammo is always available.

I have this same pistol. That's the Lightweight Champion correct? My problem with the .45 right now is finding ammo for the range. I can get my hands on plenty of personal protection rounds but finding rounds to shoot at the range locally has been a challenge. I can shoot my M&P40 all day long and still find plenty of ammo to feed it.

I've been loading my own ammo for 20+ years now, I have thousands of rounds ... I can't remember the last time I bought a box so I don't have to deal with that ... But as a gun show vendor and a promoter of shows I know that ammo for anything can be hard to find right now.
