I'd usually agree, but I think he did a pretty good job with his character in this movie. He was spot on with his Adam West Batman impersonation while in costume. Plus, being a Nick Cage hater like myself, I thought his final scene was worth the price of admission.

I watched this on an airplane this past weekend. Gonna have to go get the DVD. I quite enjoyed it, but then I tend to like comic-book movies more than the general public

Just finished watching Kick Ass.

Thought it was pretty good. I knew very little about it before watching it. I'm not much of comic book based movie fan but I got a Kick out of this one..

Why all the Nick Cage hate? Not one of my fav's but I do not avoid watching a movie because he is in the movie.
Who would you have cast in the role instead of Nick Cage?
I was thinking Vince Vaughn, Clive Owen, Jason Statham..

If you are not much of a comic book fan, watch The Watchmen. I did for the first time
this week and I thought it was really good. Very different.
