Happy thanksgiving

So much to be thankful for, particularly CA!

Wednesdays I work outreach at a welfare office. Yesterday one of the nice staff was grumbling about having to work "right up to Thanksgiving!"

"But you have a really nice, cushy job indoors," I reminded her. "You don't live under a bridge or have to shuffle your kids to another shelter this week, you HAVE a turkey to roast..."

[Sheepish look from her] "Oh... Yeah! Thanks for the reminder!"



Today and EVERY day, I am thankful for so much. My life really IS chocolate cake.
