I agree, but I had this pit in my stomach while they were celebrating with no light. I was like.. if this ends up not being a goal, their morale is going down the crapper

Words can't describe the feeling right now!! It's like Im living 2005 all over again but with the Hawks, and its just great!!!! I didn't think I would see this, and for my dad, this is very special for him. Thanks for the memories Chicago Let's add another banner to the United Center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First and foremost, I want to say congratulations to all of the Hawk fans. Being a life long Philadelphia sports fan, I know all too well how it feels to have a long wait for a championship for a beloved sports franchise. Hats off to your team. It was a great, dramatic, and fun Stanley Cup Playoffs.

As a Flyers fan, I really wish the winning goal wasn't a weak goal. Very frustrating. I would have rather it been a clean goal, or a goal that rewarded hard work in the offensive zone.

Nonetheless, a heartfelt congratulations.

Congrats to all the Hawks fans out there...great win, great team...well deserved!

As said, Bettman has been booed every year the cup has been presented that I can remember, even when he's presenting the cup at the winning team's home ice.
