yes, if you restore the stanwell, it'll be worth MORE* than what you have in them ALL and what it cost to restore it (depending on how much you pay to have it restored - my local shop charges about $25).
you got a good deal if you clean 'em up. that's a cool Stanwell shape, and i really like the older ones (with the Reg'd #s). * - i say that because i've seen them for sale on ebay for $70.. of course they're in great shape, etc. i managed to steal one off ebay for just over $20 once. one of my favorite pipes.

I'm back

I'm going to try and post some better pictures of the Bjarne, the Stanwell, and the Savinelli.
I polished them a little with some olive oil, which seems to have brought out the grain of the wood. Anyone know anything about the "Town Hall" that was made in England? It looks like (to me) a nice pipe, but I can't find any info on it. Thanks again for the info. Ken |
