On top of that, the F-14 Tomcats were retired several years ago, and in the interest of national security (read: Iran) they were sent straightaway to Captain Crunch.

Ironic that Iran is now the last user of F-14s (assuming they're even capable of anything beyond keeping tarmac from flying off into space).

I do too, but spent NO time around it. I have said many times, though, I remember being at Wilber's BBQ in Goldsboro, NC and having one fly over the parking lot and I swear it looked like an aircraft carrier flying over that highway. Or at least a destroyer. GIANT. Biga$$ F-15 is about HALF that size. BUT THIS is what I worked on....
