I'm glad several of you are familiar with Penzey's. My daughter made 2 loaves of banana bread using Penzey's cinnamon and vanilla, and it's baking right now. The house smells heavenly.

Have used this as well until I discovered another Vanilla and it's the best I have ever used. Being an avid cook myself I have tried just about every vanilla out there and this one ( http://www.mexicanvanilla.com/ ) Blue Cattle Truck Vanilla is amazing. Banana Bread, Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream, French Toast, Pastries, cookies...the list is endless.

Not necessarily a thread jack, but despite the Penzey's tip, which I appreciated,
when it was time for me to buy spices online, I actually searched guugle for granulated worcesteshire
sauce and came up with Firehouse Pantry Ltd out of Ohio. Not a chain, kind of a mom and pop to hear
them tell it. Might do a price comparison today if I get bored and update that info.
But I was happy with my order, til I exploded a giant baggie of rub onto myself while mixing up
my various goodies. That took the fun out of receiving the package.

-------------------------
Granulated Worcesteshire at FHP $8.19 lb, not avail at Penz
Hungarian Paprika $6.78 lb at FHP, $16 lb at Penz
Granulated roasted garlic $5 lb at FHP, $11.20 at Penz
Ground Ancho Chili $8.77 lb at FHP, $11.20 at Penz

That's 3 from my rub mix, and it seems that's enough!
