Default Re: Gran Habano Vintage

I appreciate the feedback. Good for the price isn't exactly the ringing endorsement I was hoping for. I have some "good for the price" $2-$3 cigars, and if I am careful, can often find some $5-$8 for the same price. Given how much I smoke, I can wait for some sales. I was hoping that these might be one of those sleeper sticks, "great at twice the price."

Peace of the Lord be with you.

I had a weird taste revelation while smoking one of these the other night. I am sure it is just me but it was some what like an Antano with out the gut punch and a slight Dominican influence. YMMV.

My thought is if they are like the Corojo #5 I would like them but alas I have not gotten my hands on one yet.

They are the corojo #5 with a lot of age. I got one in a box pass recently.
It may not survive past this weekend!

You get more than you pay for Todd.
My best friend smokes these almost exclusively which in turn lands me some too...
Several times I've found myself stopping to stare at them it in appreciation...seriously.
