Feeling at Home
|
Oliva V Maduro '08
I have smoked both the 08 and 09 in the past and I remember liking the 08 A LOT more. I gave these about a week of rest before I smoked one to make sure they settled in just fine. The first inch of the cigar was rather bitter. This did go away though and opened up to some nice meaty/chewy maduro flavors along with some woodsiness in the mix. It stayed this way until about 1/2 way where some floral flavors came forward, and pretty much stayed that way until the end. Very good stick, but not too much complexity, so not too much to report about. Hopefully more age will help them , I don't know? I finally got me a new camera so the pics don't suck as bad as before, lol. Thanks for reading.

Nice pics!
My cigar crew loves theses, but we are all curious about the 09's. Thanks for the review. Jealous of you indoor smokers! |
